WARRANTY WORK DURING COVID-19
As we continue to monitor the coronavirus COVID-19, we are taking precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our homeowners, our employees and trade partners including the temporary suspension of all non-essential warranty work until further notice.
We will only schedule and complete work for Urgent Customer Service Requests that are emergency “at home” situations requiring immediate attention. Please note that urgent, emergency service requests are not impacted by the temporary suspension of non-essential warranty work. Non-essential warranty requests will be received and remain open to be scheduled at a later date.
Warranty submission (Urgent and Non-Urgent)
Submit all warranty requests through the warranty portal at https://www.mcclintockhomes.com/warrantyinfo
If your 1-year or 2-year warranty expires during this time, we will use the date of the warranty submittal and complete the work once we can resume normal operations.
Urgent Warranty Work
If you have an urgent warranty request during this period, our staff will practice “social distancing”, and hygiene and sanitation guidelines as set by the CDC.
If urgent work is requested and someone in your household is exhibiting signs or symptoms of COVID-19, please disclose this so that we can create a specific plan for your situation.
We understand that this is a time when extraordinary precautions are necessary and we assure you that McClintock Homes will take care of your outstanding warranty needs when conditions allow. To file a warranty request for other items, please fill out the form on this page. Complete the required fields, and list each item in the “Comments/Notes” section. To assure timely response and proper record keeping, on-site sales and construction personnel will not accept service requests in your community.
When we receive a warranty service request, we may contact you for an inspection appointment. Warranty inspection appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We inspect the items listed in your written request to confirm warranty coverage and determine appropriate action. Generally reported items fall into one of the three categories:
Trade Contractor Items
Home Maintenance Items – Non-Warrantable
Cosmetic Items – Non-Warrantable
Either a McClintock Homes representative or a trade contactor will contact you to schedule the work.
